Change workspace background color

The following procedure describes the procedure for changing the work space background color.

Note:The file location may vary.

1.1.      Logon Page

Below is the procedure for changing the logon page background color.

1.1.    

1.1.1.   Before Changes

    By default, the workspace logon screen will have white back ground color.

1.1.2.   Changes

      Navigate to EPM system installed folder (C:\Oracle\Middleware\) 

  Navigate to theme.css file from the location

C:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\common\epmstatic\bpmui\thirdparty\bindows\html\themes\BpmTadpole.

Open theme.css file in a text editor then do Replace all (Ctrl+H) the white background-color value (#FFFFFF) with the new color value to get changed all the white colored content and background colors.

1.1.4.   After changes

After the changes on the logon page the new logon screen will be changed.

1.2.      Reports Page

The following details describe the reports page table grid color changes.

1.2.1.   Changes

Open theme.css file in a text editor from the location C:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\common\epmstatic\bpmui\thirdparty\bindows\html\themes\BpmTadpole then change .bi-olap-grid-table td.sort-column property background-color value with the new color value to get the table grid color changed. These changes will reflect in the financial reports table grid page.

Here I have chosen #EFE4B0.                                                                                                

1.2.2.   Start and Stop Services

1.3.      Blank Page

Below is the procedure for changing the blank page or default page background color.

1.3.1.   Changes

Change .primaryLayer property background color from theme.css file, located at C:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\common\epmstatic\bpmui\thirdparty\bindows\html\themes\BpmTadpole.

1.3.2.   Start and Stop Services

1.3.3.   After Changes

After changing the blank page background color, the new blank page will change it's color.

1.4.      Home page

The following details describe the changes on the homepage tab background color

1.4.1.   Proposed Changes

Change body background-color to change the home page tab background color in the homepage.css, located at C:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\common\epmstatic\raframework\themes\theme_tadpole. 

           

1.4.2.   Start and Stop Services

   1.5.1.  Navigate to Stop EPM System from StartàAll Programsà Oracle EPM Systemà Foundation                   Services or run the stopFoundationServices.bat in the location.

              C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\bin\ to stop the foundation service                     

Note: *** Make sure the service is completely down ***

1.5.2.   Open Task Manager then check for HyS9FoundationServices.exe is running. If it’s still running then wait until the service is down.

1.5.3.                Navigate to Internet options from StartàAll ProgramsàInternet Explorerà Tools (Alt+T) to                               clear all the cookies, temporary files and history from the Internet Explorer.

1.5.4.              Navigate to Start EPM System from StartàAll Programsà Oracle EPM Systemà Foundation                           Services or run startFoundationServices.bat in the location .

C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\bin\ to start the foundation service.                       

Note: *** Make sure the service is completely up ***

1.5.5.        Navigate to Workspace URL from Startà All Programsà Oracle EPM SystemàWorkspace to launch the EPM workspace.
